What can I set up before my shop is approved?
Prepare your shop first. Choose a template and add products or fixed-price services privately. Complete RevPulse approval before you publish and sell; checkout, promotions, fulfilment tools and withdrawals require approval too.
What fees apply when I sell, and when can I withdraw my earnings?
Selling and cash-out fees apply separately from workspace access, including during the free trial. Review the quoted fees before selling. Payment received is not the same as available earnings: clearance, fulfilment and any holds must be resolved before cash-out. Cash-out requires approval and at least R300 in available earnings. See the pricing page for the current fee breakdown.
Do I need a registered company to get started?
No CIPC company number or SARS income-tax number is needed merely to prepare a sole-proprietor shop. Publishing and selling require an approved adult account holder and bank setup. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must own or manage the account and complete verification.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Your 30-day free trial starts automatically when you register. No card is needed and the trial does not renew automatically.
Do I need to use everything at once?
Start with one useful thing: an invoice, an expense, or your product catalogue. Add the rest when it helps your business.
What happens after the 30 days?
You choose whether to subscribe to continue using the workspace. Review the current plans and access terms on our pricing page before subscribing.
Can I sell products as well as services?
Yes. Keep products, stock, and fixed-price services alongside your invoices. Explore the example shop to try the buyer experience without making a purchase.
Can I just use RevPulse for bookkeeping?
Yes. Start with your income, expenses and invoices without opening a shop. You can also record income and expenses from sales outside your RevPulse shop, and add your shop when you are ready.
How can AI help, and do I stay in control?
Ask for help across your workspace: understand your numbers, review shop and stock information, prepare invoice drafts and capture receipt details. Available actions depend on the feature and your access. Inspect supporting records and review editable drafts before saving. AI can make mistakes; you stay in control.
Does RevPulse connect to my bank account?
No. Bookkeeping works with the statements you choose to upload and transactions you enter or select for recording. Review imported lines, match existing records and choose which lines become income or expenses. Uploaded statements remain supporting evidence. Seller bank verification for receiving shop earnings is a separate step; it does not enable an automatic transaction feed.
Does RevPulse connect to SARS or file for me?
No. RevPulse helps you prepare with organised records, supporting documents, planning estimates and downloadable summaries. It does not connect directly to SARS, register you, submit returns or make tax payments. You or your tax practitioner review the records and handle filing with SARS.
